The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for clients with behavioral health needs. The Analyst, Leads Management, will assist with the implementation of leads management campaigns to optimize mortgage and home equity loan production. This individual will assist in building and optimizing a mortgage lead workflow through Velocify that integrates with key platforms to ensure that leads are distributed, dispositioned, and prioritized accordingly. The role will support department work with operational teams and assist in providing requirements, prioritizing efforts, and project delivery. Responsibilities will extend to domestic and international finance and treasury management.<br />Duties/Responsibilities<br /><br />Assists in preparing analysis and presentations for quarterly forecasts and annual budgets to communicate financial results and outlook to senior executives and the Board of Directors.<br />Prepares Board presentations and Earnings Call materials.<br />Maintains assigned models monthly to ensure accuracy and consistency.<br />Prepares, validates, and summarizes various key reporting metrics for use by various HEP teams.<br />Assists with enhancing the finance department’s ability to utilize financial systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.<br />Provides management with funding and liquidity analysis and recommendations regarding the strategy around long‑term financial stability and capital for growth projects.<br />Supports financing initiatives central to HEP’s growth, including equity and debt transactions, joint venture capital raises, and M&amp;A.<br />Provides support with HEP’s (and its JVs) various credit agreements.<br />Develops and maintains cash flow projections.<br />Conducts liquidity and distribution analysis, ensuring debt compliance.<br />Manages rating agency relationships and engages in capital market activities.<br />Supports FP&amp;A and Treasury functions, including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, debt compliance, and long‑term planning.<br />Supports corporate and business development teams on M&amp;A and business development projects, as needed.<br />Utilizes critical thinking to develop and communicate ad‑hoc financial and business analysis.<br />Performs other related duties as assigned.<br />Required Skills/Abilities<br /><br />Strong foundation in finance.<br />Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.<br />Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.<br />Ability to manage multiple project streams at the same time and meet time‑sensitive deadlines.<br />Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.<br />Strong attention to detail.<br />Strong ownership of deliverables.<br />Ability to build &amp; dissect existing models.<br />Intermediate familiarity with Planning/Data Analytics/Consolidation software.<br />Intermediate understanding of lines of businesses and industry, general knowledge of upstream/midstream/downstream and willingness to follow industry news.<br />Basic knowledge of macroeconomics.<br />Education and Experience<br /><br />Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or economics is a plus.<br />0‑5 years of accounting or finance work experience, a plus if at a top energy company or financial institution.<br />Certifications<br /><br />CPA or CFA certification is a plus.<br />Physical Demands and Hazards for Office Employees<br /><br />This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, frequent computer use, occasional lifting of office supplies, and may involve travel.<br />Equal Opportunity Employer<br /><br />Howard Energy Partners is an equal opportunity employer. This position is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional with strong knowledge of accrual-based accounting, government billing practices, and general bookkeeping principles. A formal degree is not required; however, significant practical experience in full-cycle accounting and familiarity with FAR, DFAS, and WAWF systems is essential.<br />A United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.<br />Responsibilities<br />Responsibility for contract invoicing processes, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation through WAWF, GSA, and customer portals, as well as developing SOPs.<br />Prepare and post recurring and non-recurring journal entries for revenue, receivables, accruals, and reclasses to ensure accurate financial reporting.<br />Perform monthly close functions, including reconciliations of general ledger accounts, revenue tracking, and AR aging reviews.<br />Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic contract files, including proposals, performance documentation, and funding modifications.<br />Ensure proper recording of customer payments; monitor AR balances using DFAS and follow up on outstanding receivables.<br />Reconcile deferred revenue accounts and recognize revenue in compliance with accrual accounting standards.<br />Maintain and reconcile the Master Contract Abstract Sheet, ensuring timely updates of CLINs and funding balances.<br />Calculate and request equitable wage adjustments based on DOL wage determinations and SCA guidelines.<br />Track and reconcile fixed assets in collaboration with facilities and IT, maintaining compliance with company policy.<br />Assist in preparing audit support and internal schedules for annual reviews and external audits.<br />Provide financial insights and training regarding billing, invoicing cycles, and funding utilization.<br />Serve as a key point of contact between accounting, HR, operations, and contract management teams.<br />Preferred Qualifications<br />Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience with a strong understanding of full-cycle bookkeeping.<br />Experience working in a government contracting environment with knowledge of FAR and SCA requirements.<br />Proficiency in accounting software (Sage Intacct, Sage 100, or similar) and mid to expert level Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas).<br />Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail and deadlines.<br />Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities across accounting functions<br />Clearance:<br />Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.<br />Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).<br />FEDITC, LLC. is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace and provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment.
