(GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients. LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and <span>Edison</span>, NJ.</span></p><br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul><li><span>Lead plumbing engineer responsible for design and preparation of construction documents, drawings, specifications, calculations, etc.</span></li><li><span>Conduct site visits, inspections, field surveys to support design and construction phases.</span></li><li><span>Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.</span></li><li><span>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and other team members.</span></li><li><span>Provide construction administration support.</span></li><li><span>Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Autodesk Revit MEP & AutoCAD)</span></li></ul><br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br /><br /><br /><ul><li><span>Preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</span></li><li><span>6+ years of relevant mechanical design or construction experience.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication and organizational skills</span></li><li><span>Working knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NYC Building Codes, ASHRAE).</span></li><li><span>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.</span></li><li><strong><span>PE is strongly preferred.</span></strong></li></ul><p><span><span>Preferred Skills</span>:</span></p><ul><li><span>Ability to work independently and take lead on projects.</span></li><li><span>Strong communication and organizational skills.</span></li><li><span>Self-motivated with the ability to multitask to meet specific project deadlines.</span></li></ul><ul><li> </li></ul><p> </p><p><span>We are committed to your success, and we invest in your growth and development to unlock your full potential.</span></p><ul><li><span>Competitive Total Compensation Package</span></li><li><span>Employee- Only Stock Purchase Plan</span></li><li><span>Mentoring programs</span></li><li><span>Continuing Education Program</span></li><li><span>Employee referral bonus</span></li><li><span>Volunteer/Industry association opportunities</span></li></ul><p> </p><p><span><strong><span>Our Culture:</span></strong></span></p><p><span>We believe in the power of collaboration.
