<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Overview\n<p>Intuit is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our dynamic team as dedicated year-round TurboTax Retail Experts in one of our TurboTax Retail or Flagship locations across the United States. This unique opportunity combines tax expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to help customers navigate their tax needs. As a TurboTax - Retail Expert, you will serve as a trusted advisor, empowering customers to achieve positive financial outcomes while supporting Intuit’s mission of “Powering Prosperity Around the World.” </p>\n<br />\n<p>About the Role: In this role, you will work on-site from a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location as part of a collaborative team of financial experts, serving in-person customers who use Intuit TurboTax products.</p>\n<br />\n<p>You will serve customers in-person using Intuit TurboTax products. You will leverage your tax expertise to provide full service tax return preparation, tax advice, calculations, and software/product support. Your ability to demonstrate understanding of each customer’s unique situation, and connect with them on a personal level is critical to alleviating the stress some may feel when tackling their taxes.</p>\n<br />\n<p>Additionally, you will play a key role in growing TurboTax’s client base within the local community, attracting new clients, establishing long-term relationships, and driving customer loyalty. You will leverage TurboTax marketing support and software to empower you in building a thriving business that fosters prosperity for both you and your community.</p>\n<br />\n<p>This role is non-exempt and requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States. </p>\n<br />\n<p>What You’ll Do:</p>\n<br />\n<p>Be a Proactive Community Ambassador</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Enthusiastically represent TurboTax locally, serving as a fixture and public face of TurboTax in the community.</li>\n <li>Engage with new prospects, nurture leads, and convert prospects into long-term clients through proactive outreach.</li>\n <li>Lead and participate with the support of TurboTax in local marketing, making the topic of taxes accessible and approachable. </li>\n</ul>\n<br />\n<p>Provide Tax Expertise </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Give hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax customers, handling simple to complex tax situations (e.g., personal and business income, deductions optimization, amendments). </li>\n <li>Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice. </li>\n <li>Utilize resources such as government websites, professional tools, and team expertise to deliver accurate tax solutions in personalized everyday language. </li>\n</ul>\n<br />\n<p>Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create an exceptional customer experience through professionalism, and genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals (e.g., saving for retirement, college funds, weddings, or vacations). </li>\n <li>Connect with people to build the long-term trust that turns a one-time transaction into a loyal, multi-year relationship.</li>\n <li>Interact with customers both in-person and through Intuit’s state-of-the-art video communication tools. </li>\n <li>Address client inquiries while helping them overcome tax-related challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<br />\n<br />\n<p>What You Get: As a TurboTax - Retail Expert, you’ll receive access to exceptional company benefits and resources, including: </p>\n<p>401(k) Savings Plan with company matching, paid sick time, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, E&O Insurance provided by Intuit, Employee Assistance Program</p>\n<p>discounts on Intuit products including a free copy of TurboTax, ongoing collaboration opportunities with TurboTax’s network of growth-minded professionals and marketing support </p>\n<br />\n<p>Key Qualifications</p>\n<p>Who You Are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license with strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law preferred. </li>\n <li>Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.</li>\n <li>Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Circular 230</li>\n <li>Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Operating hours are subject to change and will likely scale up during periods of peak customer demand.</li>\n <li>Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit’s policies</li>\n <li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus</li>\n <li>Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing</li>\n <li>Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform</li>\n <li>Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment</li>\n</ul>\n<br />\n<p>Attributes & Skills: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Passionate about empowering customers and helping them overcome the complexities of taxation.</li>\n <li>Passionate about your local community and excited to work with Intuit to engage with and build Intuit’s presence in your local community (e.g., speaking at events, building a local and online social presence, creating content such as tax tips and educational videos). </li>\n <li>Entrepreneurial and self-driven with a business ownership mindset to grow your customer portfolio.</li>\n <li>Exceptional customer service skills, high empathy, and a friendly, professional demeanor.</li>\n <li>Excited to be showcased as a TurboTax Expert in local and national marketing efforts.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently while managing multiple priorities.</li>\n <li>Proficient with technology, including tax preparation software and CRM/sales tools.</li>\n</ul>\n<br />\n<p>Additional Requirements:</p>\n<p>Must reside within the United States.</p>\n<p>Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.</p>\n<br />\n<p>Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:</p>\n<p>California $32.50 - $36.00</p>\n<p>This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
