Must be certified in Epic Cadence and Referrals Description The Epic Cadence Consultant will support a high-priority Epic Patient Access and Referral Optimization initiative. This consultant will partner with Epic leadership, patient access teams, project management, physician leadership, and operational stakeholders to evaluate, redesign, and optimize referral management and scheduling workflows. Responsibilities include: - Conduct current-state assessment of referral workflows - Evaluate and optimize Epic Referral Management processes - Improve EpicCare Link referral intake and provider experience - Design and implement closed-loop referral communication workflows - Optimize referral and scheduling workqueues - Develop referral prioritization and aging management strategies - Assess and improve scheduling template design and governance - Standardize scheduling workflows across specialty service lines - Improve self-scheduling capabilities through MyChart and automation - Support Fast Pass implementation and scheduling optimization - Provide recommendations regarding authorization workflow automation - Assist with SER provider record governance and maintenance processes - Partner with operational leaders to establish Epic best practices - Mentor existing Epic analysts and knowledge transfer internal resources - Identify workflow efficiencies and optimization opportunities across the referral lifecycle Skills epic cadence, Referral Workflow, Referral Management, patient access, healthcare operations, epiccare link, SER maitenence, workqueue design, Epic Referrals module, epic prelude, mychart Top Skills Details epic cadence,Referral Workflow,Referral Management,patient access,healthcare operations,epiccare link,SER maitenence,workqueue design Additional Skills Qualifications Beyond technical Epic capabilities, successful candidates should possess: Strong consulting mindset Executive-level communication skills Process improvement expertise Ability to conduct workflow assessments Ability to facilitate stakeholder meetings Experience presenting recommendations to leadership Change management experience Strong documentation skills Cross-functional collaboration experience Ability to mentor junior analysts Problem-solving and analytical thinking Ability to work independently in highly ambiguous environments Jennifer and Anadelle repeatedly emphasized their need for someone who can evaluate current state, recommend solutions, and guide best practices rather than simply perform application support functions. Job Type Location This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
