<p></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer Lead to drive development, configuration, and integration efforts for PolicyCenter applications. </p> <p>This role involves leading technical delivery, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions within the P&C insurance domain. </p> <h3>Key Responsibilities </h3> <h3>Development & Configuration </h3> <ul> <li>Customize and enhance PolicyCenter workflows, entities, business rules, and user interfaces using Gosu, PCF, and Guidewire Studio. </li> <li>Develop reusable components and frameworks to accelerate future development efforts. </li> </ul> <h3>Integration </h3> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and maintain integrations with external systems (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, third-party services) using APIs, web services (SOAP/REST), and messaging queues. </li> <li>Ensure robust and secure data exchange across platforms. </li> </ul> <h3>Requirements & Design </h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to analyze requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical designs. </li> <li>Create and maintain detailed design and configuration documentation. </li> <li>Work closely with architects, QA, business analysts, and other developers within Agile teams (participate in sprints, daily stand-ups, retrospectives). </li> <li>Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and technical expertise. </li> </ul> <h3>Quality Assurance </h3> <ul> <li>Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure solutions meet functional and performance requirements. </li> <li>Perform code reviews, optimize application performance, and enforce coding standards. </li> </ul> <h3>Support </h3> <ul> <li>Provide production support for PolicyCenter applications, including troubleshooting, defect resolution, and root cause analysis. </li> <li>Support release management and deployment activities. </li> </ul> <h3>Required Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. </li> <li>8+ years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development and integration. </li> <li>Demonstrated leadership in technical delivery and team collaboration. </li> <li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li> <li>Must be onsite at least 2 days/week in Worcester, Massachusetts. </li> </ul> <h3>Key Skills & Technologies </h3> <ul> <li>Guidewire Suite: Deep expertise in PolicyCenter, Gosu programming, Guidewire Studio, and PCF configuration. </li> <li>Programming: Proficient in Java and Gosu; experience developing and consuming web services (SOAP/REST). </li> <li>Tools: Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Ant/Maven/Gradle, SOAP UI, Postman. </li> <li>Concepts: Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain, Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and scalable solution design. </li> </ul> <h3>Preferred Qualifications </h3> <ul> <li>Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter, Integration) are a plus. </li> <li>Experience with other Guidewire modules (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). </li> <li>Prior experience in insurance or financial services domains. </li> </ul> <p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
