<div><h3><b>About Tyba</b></h3><br /><p>Tyba is a modeling platform for energy companies developing, financing, and operating renewable energy infrastructure. Energy companies rely on technical models daily to make crucial infrastructure decisions.</p><br /><p>Our mission is to make cutting‑edge models accessible to cross‑functional teams so that companies can build and operate more renewable energy more profitably. We are backed by leading climate and generalist VCs and work with many of the industry’s most innovative energy companies.</p><br /><h3><b>The role</b></h3><br /><p>We’re looking for a Power Markets Analyst to join Tyba’s Commercial Operations team. This is a specialized role for someone who has spent years deep inside one or more organized electricity markets — and wants to put that expertise to work at the analytics layer of a fast‑growing storage optimization platform on behalf of our customers.</p><br /><p>You’ll own market analytics for designated ISO market(s) — producing internal and external market insights for commercial teams and partnering with engineering to drive optimization improvements. The right candidate has the instincts of an energy trader: you can read a settlement statement, diagnose a dispatch decision, and know what the market was doing and why. You’ve likely worked at a utility, IPP, trading firm, or ISO, and you’re ready to apply that depth in a fast‑paced role where your analysis directly shapes how real assets perform in real time.</p><br /><p>Primary market focus: <b>MISO, CAISO, NYISO, PJM, and SPP.</b> Deep experience in one of these markets is required; breadth across multiple is a strong plus.</p><br /><h3><b>Responsibilities</b></h3><br /><ul><br /><li><p>Own commercial analytics for your designated ISO market(s) — serve as the internal subject matter expert on market strategy and pricing dynamics.</p></li><br /><li><p>Partner with the engineering team to identify and prioritize performance improvement opportunities on a per-ISO basis; translate market insights into actionable product and model guidance.</p></li><br /><li><p>Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly market intelligence for internal stakeholders and external customers — including performance recaps, market condition reports, and strategic commentary.</p></li><br /><li><p>Prototype internal tooling and monitoring infrastructure (e.g., risk outlooks, real‑time market monitors, congestion).</p></li><br /><li><p>Collaborate with our policy team to navigate regulatory and market design changes in your ISO(s).</p></li><br /></ul><br /><h3><b>Required Skills</b></h3><br /><ul><br /><li><p>5+ years of experience in wholesale power markets, with hands‑on exposure to market operations, energy trading, storage dispatch, or market analytics at an IPP, utility, trading firm, ISO/RTO, or energy software company.</p></li><br /><li><p>Deep knowledge of at least one organized electricity market — MISO, SPP, CAISO, NYISO, PJM— including market structure, bidding rules, settlement mechanics, and storage‑specific participation requirements.</p></li><br /><li><p>Comfort working with large time series datasets and settlement data; proficiency in Python, SQL, or equivalent analytical tooling is strongly preferred. Experience building analytics tools from scratch is a plus.</p></li><br /><li><p>Ability to translate complex market dynamics into clear, data‑backed narratives for both technical and non‑technical audiences. While we don’t expect this role to own customer relationships, this role will be customer‑facing.</p></li><br /><li><p>Self‑directed and analytically rigorous — you set your own research agenda, find the signal in noisy data, and know how to communicate what matters.</p></li><br /></ul><br /><h3><b>Compensation and benefits</b></h3><br /><ul><br /><li><p><b>Salary</b>: $135K - $170K, depending on experience and qualifications.</p></li><br /><li><p><b>Benefits</b>: Parental leave, medical benefits, unlimited PTO.</p></li><br /><li><p><b>Equity Options:</b> Opportunity to own a stake in the company through an employee stock option plan.</p></li><br /><li><p><b>Flexible Work Environment:</b> Hybrid work model, remote work options, and team offsites.</p></li><br /></ul></div><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr

Data Analyst Harper is an AI-native commercial insurance company in San Francisco. We're not bolting AI onto insurance — we're rebuilding the entire business as software, on a simple bet: turning expert human judgment into compute is one of the largest transitions left to make, and a trillion-dollar industry still run 90% by hand is the place to prove it. We've grown ~100x in the last year and we move at that speed — on-site, in person, long days, very high standards. Almost no one joins Harper for insurance; they join to build the company that replaces how it works. The role Harper's GTM Engineer builds the data infrastructure. You're the one who tells us what it's saying. Every morning you'll wake up asking the same question: what does the data want us to do today? You sit closest to our Growth Marketing Lead, synthesizing signal from across every channel and turning it into clear, confident recommendations they can act on. You're not a report generator — you're an analytical partner who helps drive decisions, translating the noise into the two or three things that actually matter and helping the team move on them. You're a growth-oriented data analyst who's as comfortable drawing a conclusion as you are running the query that supports it. You've worked closely with marketing or growth teams before — not as a data service desk, but as a real partner in the work. You know what good channel performance looks like, you understand the metrics that matter in paid acquisition, and you can translate a cohort analysis into a budget recommendation without anyone having to ask. You report to the Head of Marketing, work day-to-day alongside the Growth Marketing Lead, and collaborate closely with the GTM Engineer who owns the underlying data systems. Winning in 6–12 months looks like the growth team making better decisions faster because you're in the room. What you'll do Synthesize channel performance. Pull together data across paid, organic, and partner channels — and identify what's working, what's not, and what to do about it. Partner with the Growth Marketing Lead. Serve as their analytical right hand; translate data outputs into clear recommendations they can act on in real time. Own growth KPI reporting. Define, maintain, and communicate core marketing and funnel metrics so the team is always looking at the right numbers. Build and maintain LTV/CAC analysis. Give leadership a clear, current picture of unit economics by channel, cohort, and customer segment. Run experiment analysis. Evaluate A/B tests and campaign experiments — and turn results into decisions, not slide decks. Surface what the data is asking for. Proactively flag trends, anomalies, and opportunities before anyone has to ask you to look. Who you are You've worked as an analytical partner to a marketing or growth team — not just supported them from a distance. You can draw a clear conclusion from messy data and defend it in a room with people who will push back. You think in recommendations, not just findings — you're not done until you've said "and therefore we should…" You're fast: you can turn a question into an answer in hours, not days. You understand paid acquisition channels well enough to have opinions about where the budget should go. You thrive in a high-tempo environment where the questions change faster than the data does. You're based in San Francisco or willing to relocate. The reality — read this before you apply This is a decision-driving seat, measured by the decisions your analysis changes — not dashboards shipped or tickets closed. It's on-site in San Francisco, in person, long days, high standards. The questions move fast and the data is messy, which means you'll be expected to draw a conclusion and stand behind it, often before the picture is fully clean. You're the analytical engine for the growth team, so when a number looks wrong or a channel turns, finding out why is yours — frequently the same day. This is explicitly not a data service desk, and it isn't a place to produce reports no one acts on. Almost no one takes it for insurance — they take it because being the analytical right hand to a growth team at a company scaling ~100x, with a direct line from your recommendation to where the budget goes, is a rare seat. If being measured on decisions is the appeal, apply. If it's a deterrent, it won't get easier here. Compensation & logistics Salary: $140,000–$180,000, plus performance bonus and equity. Location: On-site, San Francisco. Based here or willing to relocate. Schedule: Monday–Friday, long days, in the building with the team. Benefits Uber commuter benefits Meals provided — breakfast, lunch, and dinner Snacks, drinks, and coffee stocked daily Free gym membership Health, dental, and vision insurance Requirements 4 years of analytics experience with direct exposure to marketing, growth, or revenue teams Strong SQL; Python proficiency preferred Hands-on experience with funnel analysis, cohort analysis, attribution, and LTV/CAC modeling Experience analyzing paid acquisition channel performance (Google, Meta, or comparable) Proven ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and drive decisions Experience partnering with a marketing or growth counterpart to act on data in real time — not just produce reports Nice to have Familiarity with PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or comparable product analytics platforms Experience working alongside a data engineer or GTM engineer and understanding how data pipelines work Background in insurance, fintech, or another industry with complex funnel and attribution dynamics Exposure to AI-assisted analytics workflows and modern BI tooling Experience in a high-growth startup environment where speed and adaptability were required Process People screen — fit and alignment Lead screen — skills and judgment Super day — how you operate in real time To apply Send your resume and an example of analysis you ran — what you recommended, and what the team did with it.

Meter sells networks the way utilities sell power: as something that just works. Behind that promise is a business growing fast across enterprise customers, multi-site deployments, and a partner ecosystem. Right now, the data that runs the business is scattered across a dozen systems that don't talk to each other. This role fixes that. Why this role matters Every important decision at Meter — where to spend marketing dollars, which accounts to prioritize, how to forecast next quarter — is only as good as the data underneath it. Today, that data is fragmented across Salesforce, HubSpot, Stripe, ad platforms, partner systems, and product telemetry, and every team rebuilds its own version of the truth. We need one person to own the layer that turns those signals into something the company can actually run on. What you'll do in your first six months Ship canonical dbt models for accounts, opportunities, marketing touches, and revenue that finance, sales, and marketing all use — replacing the four versions of "ARR by segment" floating around today. Cut the time it takes the marketing team to answer "is this channel working" from a week of manual reconciliation to a query. Build the attribution and funnel layer that lets us actually compare the cost of acquiring a customer through partners versus paid versus outbound. Become the person GTM leadership goes to when they don't trust a number — and the person whose work makes that question rarer over time. What you'll do in your first year While you're picking up quick wins, the first few months are about laying the foundation. The next are about using it. You'll embed with finance during forecasting cycles and with marketing during budget planning. You'll be in the room when sales leadership is debating territory coverage. The business models you built in month four will be the substrate for an attribution rebuild in month nine. By the end of year one, you'll have set the standard for analytical rigor at Meter; the bar that the next five analysts we hire will be measured against. What a typical week looks like Monday morning you're pairing with a marketing lead on why their LinkedIn spend report doesn't match what finance recognized last quarter. Tuesday you're shipping a dbt PR that consolidates three definitions of "active customer" into one. Wednesday you're in the forecast review, watching the head of sales argue about coverage ratios, and you realize the underlying data has a fanout problem you can fix by Friday. Thursday is deeper IC work: designing the schema for a new partner data source. Friday you're reviewing a teammate's model and writing the test that catches the next regression before it ships. What we're looking for You've been the analytical partner inside a GTM function — not just the analyst who delivered reports to one. You've sat in pipeline reviews, argued about attribution definitions, and built dashboards that executives actually use. You write SQL the way most people write English. You reach for window functions, CTEs, and set operations without thinking. You can read someone else's 200-line query and find the bug in ten minutes. You think in dbt. You have opinions about staging vs. marts, when to use incremental models, and what belongs in a snapshot. You've designed schemas that survived contact with a changing business. You've worked across Salesforce, billing systems, marketing platforms, and product data, and you understand how they're each subtly wrong in their own way. You can take "is our marketing spend working?" and turn it into a structured analysis with a clear, defensible answer — including what you're not sure about. You build trust before you ship models. You know the dashboard nobody uses is worse than no dashboard at all. You have deep experience with one or more of the following: Snowflake, BigQuery, Tableau, or other modern data stacks. Why Meter? The internet runs the world. Every purchase you make, video call you join, it's all packets flowing through networks. But those networks haven’t changed for decades. They’re brittle, complex, and surprisingly hard to set up in an enterprise space. We started Meter to build better networks. We had to build everything from the ground-up: designing and building our own enterprise hardware, intuitive software, and streamlined operations to deliver great outcomes for our customers. Today, we build and deploy these networks at scale. Ambitious companies and enduring institutions like Bridgewater, Lyft, Reddit, rely on Meter to keep their thousands of employees and locations online and productive. Our bet with Meter is simple: we will all use the internet more than we do today. We believe we have the definitive networking stack in place to enable business to do so as seamlessly and reliably as any modern utility. Compensation The estimated base salary for this role is between $190,000 - $270,000 Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Meter's equity plan. By applying to this job you acknowledge that you've read and understood Meter's Job Applicant Privacy Notice .
