We hope your conversations with us reflect a thoughtful process that is illuminative, enjoyable, and respectful of your time.<br /><br />About the Role Render is looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to grow our community and engagement with developers across the platforms where they spend their time: X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord. You will be the public face of Render in these communities, building relationships with developers, creating content that sparks conversation, and turning Render's technical wins into stories the developer community wants to share.<br />You will: Own Render's day-to-day presence on X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and Discord: engage with developers, answer questions, and contribute to relevant conversations<br /><br />Ship a regular cadence of short-form technical content: threads, posts, code snippets, demos, and timely takes on what's happening in the ecosystem<br /><br />Surface and jump into the conversations where Render has a credible voice, fast<br /><br />Build relationships with developer creators, community moderators, and early adopters in Render's ecosystem<br /><br />Run AMAs, livestreams, and community programs on Discord and Reddit; support hackathons and community activations<br /><br />Produce longer-form technical content (blog posts, videos, sample apps) designed to fuel social distribution<br /><br />Occasionally represent Render at conferences, meetups, and on podcasts when the audience fit is right<br /><br />Serve as the voice of the developer internally, partnering with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to surface what the community cares about and influence the roadmap<br /><br />Track impact through community growth, engagement, sentiment, and downstream signups; double down on what works<br /><br />We're looking for: 4-6 years in developer relations, developer marketing, community management, content creation, or a hands-on engineering role with a strong public side<br /><br />An active, established presence on at least one major developer platform (X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitch, or similar) with a portfolio of content you can point to<br /><br />Strong technical foundation: comfortable with modern infrastructure, web frameworks, and shipping working code<br /><br />Native fluency in developer communities online: you know what plays on X versus Reddit versus Discord, and you can hold a strong point of view without being preachy<br /><br />Sharp written voice<br /><br />Bias toward shipping fast and iterating<br /><br />Nice-to-haves: Existing relationships with developer creators and community moderators<br /><br />Track record of growing a developer audience from scratch<br /><br />Comfort on camera or behind a mic<br /><br />Experience with developer cloud, hosting, or infrastructure products<br /><br />If this role excites you but you don’t meet every single requirement, we’d still love to hear from you—your unique experience might be just what we need.<br /><br />Benefits This opportunity is also eligible for equity with early-exercise options and extended exercise windows.<br /><br />4 weeks of paid vacation.<br /><br />14 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all parents to bond with a newly born, adopted, or fostered child.
