Job Description
The Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC) has announced recruitment for several administrative positions. This recruitment drive aims to fill various posts in different government departments across Meghalaya.
About Meghalaya Public Service Commission (MPSC)
The Meghalaya Public Service Commission is a constitutional body established under Article 315 of the Constitution of India. The Commission is responsible for conducting examinations for appointments to the services of the State of Meghalaya.

Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
For Lower Division Assistant:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Computer Skills: Candidates must possess a Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
- Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on July 15, 2024)
For Junior Administrative Assistant:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Computer Skills: Diploma in Computer Applications
- Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on July 15, 2024)
For Technical Assistant:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in relevant discipline
- Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on July 15, 2024)
For Statistical Assistant:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics with Statistics as a subject
- Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on July 15, 2024)
For Computer Operator:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or any graduate with Diploma in Computer Applications
- Skills: Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute
- Age Limit: 18-32 years (as on July 15, 2024)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per government rules
