Also assist in the month end close process, preparing financial reports, performing accounts reconciliation, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations and other accounting duties as assigned.<br /><br />Requirements<br /><br />Experience analyzing current and past financial data and performance.<br /><br />General Ledger (GL) accounting experience.<br /><br />Experience preparing Journal entries (JEs).<br /><br />Month end close experience including:<br /><br />Accounts reconciliation - resolving account discrepancies.<br /><br />Variance/fluctuation analysis - experience analyzing financial reports.<br /><br />Minimum of 3 years performing said above duties in a senior role.<br /><br />Bachelors Degree<br /><br />Proficiency in excel<br /><br />Extremely strong analytical, problem-solving skills.<br /><br />Ability to explain complex financial reports.<br /><br />Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.<br /><br />Strong communications skills.<br /><br />State/Federal Mandated Licensure or Certification Requirements<br />None<br /><br />Bristol Hospital Mandated Educational Requirements<br />General orientation at time of hire.
