About UTET
The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) is a state-level teaching eligibility exam conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission. Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
For UTET Paper I (Classes I to V):
The candidate should have any of the following qualifications:
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed/BTC)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education in accordance with NCTE regulations, 2002
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
- Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
For UTET Paper II (Classes VI to VIII):
The candidate should have any of the following qualifications:
- Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) in accordance with NCTE regulations, 2002
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
- Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed (Special Education)
Age Limit:
There is no age limit for the UTET examination.
