Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
For Professor:
- Educational Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with DM/MCh/DNB in the respective super-specialty (as applicable for specific departments)
- Experience: 14 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree, of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor
- Publications: Minimum of 10 research publications in indexed journals
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 58 years as on the closing date of application
For Associate Professor:
- Educational Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with DM/MCh/DNB in the respective super-specialty (as applicable for specific departments)
- Experience: 10 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying degree, of which at least 2 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor
- Publications: Minimum of 6 research publications in indexed journals
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 50 years as on the closing date of application
For Assistant Professor:
- Educational Qualification: MD/MS/DNB in the concerned specialty with DM/MCh/DNB in the respective super-specialty (as applicable for specific departments)
- Experience: 3 years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution after obtaining the qualifying super-specialty degree
- Publications: Minimum of 2 research publications in indexed journals
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years as on the closing date of application
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Government Servants: 5 years
General Conditions:
- All qualifications should be recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI)/National Medical Commission (NMC)
- The candidate must be registered with the MCI/NMC or State Medical Council
- Experience will be counted as on the last date of receipt of applications
- Contract or ad-hoc service will not be counted for eligibility
- Candidates already in government service must apply through proper channel
