The Punjab Waqf Board is a statutory body established under the Waqf Act, 1995, to administer and manage Waqf properties in the state of Punjab. Job Responsibilities
For PGT:
- Teaching Classes 11-12 in the respective subject
- Preparing students for board examinations
- Developing lesson plans and teaching materials
- Conducting assessments and evaluations
- Guiding students in career counseling
- Participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities
- Maintaining student records
- Any other duties assigned by the Principal
For TGT:
- Teaching Classes 6-10 in the respective subject
- Preparing students for examinations
- Developing teaching materials and aids
- Conducting regular assessments
- Mentoring students for their all-round development
- Organizing co-curricular activities
- Maintaining student progress records
- Any other duties assigned by the Principal
For PRT:
- Teaching all subjects to Classes 1-5
- Developing foundational skills in students
- Using activity-based teaching methods
- Conducting continuous and comprehensive evaluation
- Engaging with parents for student development
- Organizing classroom activities and displays
- Maintaining student records and portfolios
- Any other duties assigned by the Principal
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Written Examination (100 marks): Multiple choice questions on subject knowledge, teaching methodology, and general awareness.
- Teaching Skill Test (50 marks): Candidates will be asked to deliver a demonstration lesson to assess their teaching skills.
- Interview (30 marks): To assess communication skills, subject knowledge, and teaching aptitude.
