Job Responsibilities
- Maintain security and order within jail premises
- Guard prisoners and prevent escapes
- Supervise daily activities of inmates
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols
- Maintain discipline among prisoners

Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Minimum: 12th Pass (10+2) from recognized board
- Preferred: Graduate degree in any discipline
- Knowledge of Punjabi language (reading, writing, speaking)
- Basic computer knowledge preferred
Age Limit
- General: 18-25 years
- SC/BC/EWS: 18-28 years (3 years relaxation)
- Ex-Servicemen: 18-33 years (8 years relaxation)
- Freedom Fighter: 18-30 years (5 years relaxation)
Physical Standards
- Height (Male): Minimum 168 cm
- Height (Female): Minimum 152 cm
- Chest (Male): Minimum 81 cm (84 cm expanded)
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age
- Vision: 6/6 or 6/9 (correctable to 6/6)
