Selection Process
The selection process for faculty positions at OUAT will include:

Eligibility
Eligibility Criteria
For Professor:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Experience: 10 years of teaching/research experience in a university/college/research institution, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Associate Professor
- Publications: Minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
- Research Guidance: Should have guided at least 2 Ph.D. scholars (completed)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 57 years as on the closing date of application
For Associate Professor:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline
- Experience: 8 years of teaching/research experience in a university/college/research institution, of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor
- Publications: Minimum of 7 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 55 years as on the closing date of application
For Assistant Professor:
- Educational Qualification: Master's degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in the relevant discipline
- Additional Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant subject from a recognized university
- NET/SLET/SET: Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR, or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or SET; or with a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009 or 2016
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on the closing date of application
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Women candidates: 5 years
- Government Servants: 5 years
General Conditions:
- All qualifications should be from a recognized university/institution
- The experience and qualification will be counted as on the last date of receipt of applications
- Candidates already in government service must apply through proper channel
