Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MAHADISCOM) has released a notification for the engagement of 6000 Graduate and Technician Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Category-wise Reservation

Note: Horizontal reservation will be provided as per Government of Maharashtra rules for Women (30%), Person with Disability (4%), and Ex-Servicemen (15%).

Training Period & Stipend

• The training period for both Graduate and Technician Apprentices will be 1 year (12 months)
• Graduate Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000/-
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹9,000/-

Selection Process

The selection process for Apprenticeship will be based on the following criteria:

1. Merit List Preparation: Based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination (BE/B.Tech or Diploma)
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates will undergo a medical examination to assess their fitness

How to Apply

Candidates need to apply through the NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) portal and MAHADISCOM portal. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Register on the NAPS portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.org/
2. Generate a unique registration number from the NAPS portal
3. Visit the MAHADISCOM website: https://www.mahadiscom.in/
4. Navigate to the "Careers" section and click on "Apprentice Recruitment 2024"
5. Register on the MAHADISCOM portal using the NAPS registration number
6. Fill the application form with accurate details
7. Upload scanned copies of required documents
8. Submit the application and take a printout for future reference

Documents Required

• Recent passport-sized color photograph
• Scanned signature
• SSC/10th certificate and mark sheet (for age proof)
• HSC/12th certificate and mark sheet
• Degree/Diploma certificate and all semester mark sheets
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Non-creamy layer certificate for OBC/VJNT/NT-B/NT-C/NT-D (issued after April 1, 2023)
• EWS certificate (if applicable, issued after April 1, 2023)
• Disability certificate (if applicable)
• Ex-serviceman discharge book (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate of Maharashtra
• Aadhar Card

Important Information

• The apprenticeship training is for 1 year (12 months) and does not guarantee employment in MAHADISCOM after completion
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or who are currently undergoing apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any organization are not eligible to apply
• Candidates must be domiciled in Maharashtra
• The selection and deployment of apprentices will be subject to detailed provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the document verification/medical examination
