You will work alongside experienced sushi chefs, learning traditional techniques and perfecting your craft in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. </p><p></p><p><b> Responsibilities: </b></p><ul><li> Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice </li><li> Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards </li><li> Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, following food safety and sanitation guidelines </li><li> Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely preparation </li><li> Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction </li></ul><p></p><p><b> Requirements: </b></p><ul><li>1+ years of kitchen experience, preferably in a sushi or Japanese restaurant </li><li> Basic knife skills and familiarity with sushi products </li><li> Willingness to learn and grow in a culinary setting </li></ul><p></p><p> At Wegmans, we’ve always believed we can achieve our goals only if we first fulfill the needs of our people.
