Advertising Sales Representative (Hybrid)

You’ll build your own book of business in your local territory, on a schedule you control, selling advertising placements across BVM’s local print magazine and companion digital, social, and website products. </p><ul><li><b> Consult: </b> Meet face-to-face with standout local business owners to showcase what makes their community great. </li><li><b> Strategize: </b> Build powerful, multi-channel branding programs using our media suite, print, digital, social, websites, and reputation management. </li><li><b> Scale: </b> Leverage our proven training and time-tested sales system to grow your own book of business, building community engagement that pays you and your community for years to come. </li></ul><p><b> What You’ll Earn </b></p><p> This is a 1099 independent contractor role with no base salary or draw (full commission). Representatives earn a recurring commission on sales, with commission rates generally ranging from <b>70-80%</b> based on monthly sales volume and performance relative to the baseline* cost structure. Bonuses are available during start-up and on an ongoing basis. </p><p>*Baseline is the back-end cost associated with the magazine &amp; digital product’s cost to produce, distribute, bill clients, etc, and does not come out of the representative’s pocket. </p><p><b> What You Bring </b></p><ul><li><b> Sales Acumen: </b> A drive to help local businesses grow through the art of advertising sales, strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
