We are looking for a skilled Developer to help build and maintain our cutting-edge wealth management platform.</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>The opportunity:</strong></b> We are seeking a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our Toronto-based tech team. You will be responsible for writing clean, high-quality code and collaborating with Product Managers and other developers to build and enhance our software products. This is a full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).</p><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the Optimize platform.</li><li>Work with Product Managers to define and refine feature requirements.</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.</li><li>Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.</li><li>Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><b><strong>Qualifications:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.</li><li>Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java).</li><li>Experience with front-end (e.g., React, Angular) and/or back-end technologies.</li><li>Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).</li><li>Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><i><b><strong>Use of Artificial Intelligence in Recruitment</strong></b></i></p><p><i><em>As part of our recruitment and selection process, we may use technology-enabled tools, including artificial intelligence (AI), to assist with certain aspects of candidate screening, assessment, scheduling, and application review.
