C++ Software Engineer

<h3>Job Description</h3><div><p>We are partnered with a leading quantitative trading firm looking to hire experienced C++ Software Engineers to work on highly performant, latency-sensitive systems supporting its global trading environment.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>This is a core engineering role for someone who enjoys working close to the system level and solving challenging problems across C++, Linux, networking, CPU performance, and distributed systems.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>What You’ll Work On:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Building and optimizing high-performance C++ systems</li>\n <li>Developing low-latency market data, execution, and trading infrastructure</li>\n <li>Profiling and optimizing production code for latency and throughput</li>\n <li>Designing reliable, fault-tolerant distributed systems</li>\n <li>Working with Linux, networking, and performance-critical systems</li>\n <li>Improving system and processor-level performance</li>\n <li>Building scalable infrastructure supporting technical and research workflows</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>Engineers have significant ownership and work closely with other highly technical teams to design, build, optimize, and troubleshoot production systems.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>What They’re Looking For</p>\n<ul>\n <li>2+ years of professional software engineering experience</li>\n <li>Strong professional experience with modern C++</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of computer science and software engineering fundamentals</li>\n <li>Experience working in Linux/UNIX environments</li>\n <li>Knowledge of systems performance, networking, concurrency, or distributed systems</li>\n <li>Strong debugging and problem-solving ability</li>\n <li>Ability to reason about software at both the architectural and implementation level</li>\n <li>Interest in performance optimization and technically challenging systems</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>The Opportunity</p>\n<p>You’ll join an engineering-driven environment where software performance has a direct and measurable impact.
