<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Tech Talent International (SI)</strong> supplies technical talent to a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 100/500/1000 companies to small and mid-sized organizations in Canada/US and Europe.</p><p>We currently have a role as a <strong><strong><strong><strong>Securitization RAD Developer</strong></strong></strong></strong> with our large consulting client, workig onsite at a major financial services client in the downtown Montreal area. This role can be either a long term contract or a permanent role.</p><p><strong>Role:</strong> <strong><strong><strong><strong>Securitization RAD Developer</strong></strong></strong></strong></p><p><strong>Type: Permanent or Contract </strong>37.5 hrs/week</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Hybrid<strong> - </strong>Downtown Montreal, QC -(roles starts off 5 days in office for 1st 3 months, then turns into hybrid setup 3 days onsite, 2 days from home)<br /></p><p><strong>Contract Pay Rate:</strong> $60hr C2C</p><p><strong>Salary: </strong>$65,000 - $70,000 + 9% bonus + 3-5 weeks paid vacation + RRSP contribution + benefits + sick/personal days</p><p></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br />Settlement of fixed income, equity, and options products across US and global markets<br />Reconciliation of cash positions and stock records between custodians, clearing agents, banks, and internal systems<br />Reconciliation of suspense and control accounts<br />KPI / KRI reporting with detailed root cause analysis and resolution tracking<br />Continuous follow-up to resolve all breaks, including settlement fails with counterparties<br />Ensure proper functioning of operational, administrative, and financial processes related to market transactions<br />Maintain compliance with financial rules and internal controls<br />Work flexible hours between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM as required<br />Participate in occasional overtime and late shifts<br />Operate under the Canadian holiday calendar<br /><br /><strong><br />REQUIREMENTS</strong><br />Mandatory<br />3–7 years of relevant experience in software development </p><p>Advanced Excel/VBA programming skills </p><p>MSSQL mandatory</p><p>Python (good to have)</p><p>Proficiency with clearing and settlement tools and systems<br />Canadian regulatory and compliance experience<br />Knowledge of broker/dealer operations<br />Experience documenting front-to-back system flows<br />Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, or related field), or equivalent experience<br /><br />Strong understanding of trade flows and products (fixed income, equities, options)<br />Comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international settlement processes<br />Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines<br />Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues effectively<br />Strong collaboration skills with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders<br />Bilingual (required)<br />Nice to have<br />Strong written and verbal communication skills<br />Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities<br />Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic environment</p></div></div>
