<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><div><div><div><p><strong>JOB DESCRIPTION </strong></p><p><strong>FLSA Status:</strong> Non-Exempt, Part-time (20 hours/week)</p><p><strong>Schedule: 25 hours per week</strong> (3 days in office/2 days remote) <br /><strong>Reports To:</strong> Logistics & Customer Operations Manager<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Hybrid (NY Office)</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p><p>The Customer Service Representative provides support for U.S. operations by managing customer orders, coordinating release orders, and ensuring accurate invoicing and reporting. This role serves as a key point of contact for customers, supporting day-to-day inquiries and order-related activities while assisting with forecasting and maintaining operational data. The position plays an important role in ensuring efficient processes, accurate documentation, and a high level of customer service.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities</strong></p><div><ul><li>Process customer purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner</li><li>Coordinate and process release orders to support efficient order fulfillment</li><li>Prepare and maintain monthly reports related to sales, inventory, and operations</li><li>Support forecasting activities by tracking trends and providing relevant data</li><li>Generate and process customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness</li><li>Provide overall customer service support for U.S. operations, including responding to inquiries and resolving order-related issues</li></ul></div><p><br /></p><p><strong>Other Responsibilities</strong></p><p>Perform other duties as assigned and modified at the manager’s discretion.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Minimum Requirements</strong></p><div><ul><li>High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or coursework in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.</li><li>Bilingual in English and Japanese (written and verbal) strongly preferred</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of import logistics coordination experience preferred.</li><li>Experience working with shipping documentation, carriers, and warehouse operations preferred.</li></ul></div><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Competencies</strong></p><div><ul><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.</li><li>Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div></div>
