We are committed to the longevity and successful training and career development of all of our staff.<br /></p><p>Position Summary</p><p>We are seeking an experienced Hydronic / BoilerPlumber/ Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of boiler and hydronic heating / cooling systems, pumps, valves, and associated waterline work. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a deep understanding of hydronics, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.</p><p><br /><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Install, maintain, and repair hydronic heating and cooling systems (e.g. boilers, radiant floor heat, fan coils, etc.)</li><li>Service boilers: perform inspections, startups, burner tuning, combustion analysis, safety & control checks</li><li>Install, maintain, or repair pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, expansion tanks, sensors, and controllers</li><li>Work on domestic water lines: routing, connections, fittings, leak repair, etc.</li><li>Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, blueprints and specifications</li><li>Perform system balancing, pressure / flow testing, and troubleshooting</li><li>Perform preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely</li><li>Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and communicate clearly with management and clients</li><li>Clean and organize work area after job completion</li><li>Respond to emergency service calls if required (overtime / on-call duties may apply)</li></ul><p><br /><br /></p><p>Required Skills & Qualifications</p><ul><li><span>Journeypersonplumber</span>; additional hydronic / HVAC certification is a strong advantage</li><li>Several years (e.g. 3-5+) experience in hydronic heating & cooling system work, boiler service, and pump systems</li><li>Proficiency in working with pumps, valves, pressure reducing valves, control systems, sensors, thermostats</li><li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, plumbing / mechanical schematics</li><li>Solid troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose system issues logically</li><li>Familiarity with local plumbing / mechanical codes and safety regulations</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail</li><li>Good physical fitness: ability to lift, climb, bend, work in tight or elevated mechanical rooms</li><li>Valid drivers license and clean driving record</li><li>Good communication skills (verbal and written)</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team; reliability and professionalism</li><li>Willingness to learn and to keep up to date with new technologies and techniques in hydronics</li></ul></div></div>
