Senior Software Engineer | AI / FinTech | NYC

<h3>Job Description</h3><div><p>I’m working with an early-stage AI startup building software that helps banks and wealth managers deliver personalised financial guidance to more people.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>They’re looking for a strong backend-focused engineer who can own application development and build features end to end, working across the stack when needed.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>You’ll work on core product features, internal applications and public APIs, alongside distributed backend systems, data pipelines and agentic AI workflows.</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>They’re looking for:</p>\n<p>• Strong Python, backend architecture and relational database experience</p>\n<p>• Experience taking applications and features into production</p>\n<p>• Enough React/TypeScript experience to deliver across the stack</p>\n<p>• Confidence using modern AI development tools</p>\n<p>• A self-motivated engineer who questions assumptions and takes ownership</p>\n<p><br /></p>\n<p>Applied AI, agentic systems or data engineering experience would be a big plus.
