<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div>Salary: $60-75K DOE<br /><p>Why this role</p><p>Encepta is growing our Pole Loading Analysis (PLA) team to meet increasing demand. This role will use software to analyze utility pole structures to identify structural loading failures, and apply design decisions to resolve issues. This role is a great fit if you enjoy real-world problem-solving, working with field-derived inputs, and producing clean, defensible analysis and design packages.</p><p><br /></p><p>What youll do</p><p> Complete pole loading analyses and design solutions for joint-use attachments (telecom and utility environments)</p><p> Build accurate models from upstream inputs (field data, point <span>clouds/measurements,</span> photos, spans, attachments, and client standards)</p><p> Identify overloaded or non-compliant conditions and recommend practical, buildable design solutions</p><p> Produce clear documentation and construction-ready notes/packages so downstream teams can act quickly</p><p> Participate in peer review and QA/QC; support escalation to P.Eng review when required</p><p> Provide feedback to field teams on input quality and whats needed to reduce rework</p><p> Contribute to improving templates, checklists, and workflow to increase throughput while protecting quality</p><p><br /></p><p>Tools you will be trained to use</p><p> QuickPole</p><p> SPIDAcalc</p><p> PLS-CADD</p><p> ArcGIS / Google Earth / CAD<br /> 3D Visualization Software</p><p><br /></p><p>What success looks like (first 90 days)</p><p> You will complete an intense, hands-on training of our tools and workflows</p><p>You can complete straightforward PLA files with consistent assumptions, clean documentation, and minimal rework</p><p> You quickly spot missing/incorrect inputs and communicate whats needed to resolve them</p><p> You follow established processes and quality standards consistently</p><p> You build strong working relationships with peers, reviewers, and project leads through clear, proactive communication</p><p><br /></p><p>What were looking for<br />Delivery &amp; mindset</p><p> Strong critical thinker who enjoys mechanical and structural problem-solving</p><p> A solid understanding of how things break from a mechanical perspective</p><p> Visualization and understanding of mechanical structures</p><p> Detail-oriented and consistentfollows the process and documents clearly</p><p> Comfortable with extended screen time and structured technical work</p><p> Fast learner who asks good questions and adapts quickly</p><p> Curious about how modern tools, technology, and AI can improve workflows and quality</p><p> Collaborative and proactive communicator</p><p><br />Experience &amp; education</p><p>Were open to candidates on a Mechanical, Structural, Civil <span>Technician/Technologist</span> track or an Engineer/EIT track.
