<p>PCB Designer<br /><br />12 + month (s) contract<br /><br />REMOTE<br /><br />Design moderate to highly complex PWB layouts using inputs from the schematic designers and other members of engineering. Participate in the development of designs for new or modified high-density printed wiring boards. Assist in the design and development of moderately complex and detailed layouts of printed wiring boards (PWBs) implementing a wide range of technologies.<br /><br />Essential Functions<br /><br />Assist electrical and packaging engineers with the design and layout of printed wiring boards (PWBs).<br />Implement moderate to highly complex PWB designs.<br />Assist engineers with constraint editing and entry.<br />Interpret and understand design requirements.<br />Demonstrate proficiency with design tools.<br />Collaborate with PWB manufacturing engineers to define fabrication criteria.<br />Demonstrate proficiency in the implementation of design techniques such as differential pairs, length matching, impedance control, blind & buried vias, and break out of high density, fine pitch components.<br />Follow established processes and work instructions.<br />Provide inputs supporting generation of associated documentation.<br />Demonstrate working knowledge of industry standard practices for schematic and PWB designs.<br />Familiarity with industry standards: IPC-7351, JEDEC-JP95, MIL-STD-1835.<br />Work with moderate to minimal oversight from senior technical personnel.<br />Identify design issues and bring these issues to the attention of project team.<br />Regularly works with multiple senior technical staff members on design projects.<br />Accept inputs from multiple members of the project team and acts on them appropriately.<br />Communicate project status and issues to management.<br />Communicate project status and issues to the project team.<br />Efficiently execute a project task and drive a layout project to completion.<br /><br />Tools<br /><br />Siemens (Mentor) Xpedition Enterprise VX2.12/2.14<br />AutoCAD<br />Downstream CAM350<br />SolidWorks<br /><br />Required Qualifications<br /><br />Associates degree or certificate from a two year technical school in an applicable discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and skills.<br />10+ years of experience in the field of PWB design or technical drafting with specific tools knowledge.<br />Demonstrated ability to collect, organize and capture design details in a fast paced, dynamic environment<br />Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.<br />Proven ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment<br /><br />Desired Qualifications<br /><br />Experience with bare die techniques such as wire bond, flip chip, and interposer design<br />Formal education in electronics or electrical circuit theory is a significant benefit.<br />IPC Certification<br />Complementary domain knowledge or experience such as PWB assembly, PWB fabrication, hardware assembly, or hardware test<br /><br />( Active or recent ( Posted By: Peter Niejadlik<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr</p>
