<p>Position Summary The University at Buffalo’s Division of Student Life seeks to hire a part‑time Graphic Designer to join their team. The role is team‑oriented, results‑driven, and artistic, requiring innovative design solutions in a fast‑paced environment.<br />Responsibilities Work under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Experiential Design to support exceptional programs and initiatives that help enhance the UB experience for students.<br />Consult with and guide Student Life units to help them achieve their communication goals.<br />Act as a creative problem‑solver to develop original visuals in print, digital, and environmental mediums.<br />Use creativity to devise design solutions that resonate with target audiences while upholding the University at Buffalo brand and its associated standards.<br />Manage production of art assets and oversee project implementation with campus and external partners for optimal results.<br />Minimum Qualifications Associate degree with 2 years of experience<br />Bachelor’s degree with 0 years of experience<br />A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree on a year‑to‑year basis.<br />Knowledge of typography, typesetting, current design standards and trends, as well as printing and production techniques.<br />Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.<br />Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks at once.<br />Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on a team and with external partners.<br />Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 3‑4 years of demonstrated marketing or advertising design experience in print, web, and/or environmental mediums.<br />Efficient, outcome‑driven, with the ability to be nimble, accept feedback, and iterate in a fast‑paced environment.<br />Experience with project management software.<br />Knowledge of emerging technologies.<br />Salary Range $26,500<br />Equity &amp; Inclusion University at Buffalo is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and, in keeping with our commitment, welcomes all to apply including veterans and individuals with disabilities.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr</p>
