Staff Accountant/Financial Analyst

<p>Job Details<br />We are seeking a Staff Accountant, ideally someone with a Non‑Profit background, to join our team at a LosAngeles based nonprofit that creates charitable projects and manages major philanthropic initiatives.<br /><br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Maintain the general ledger, prepare and record journal entries.<br /><br />Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.<br /><br />Assist with closing the books (monthly, quarterly, yearly).<br /><br />Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures.<br /><br />Analyze variances in budget vs. actual costs.<br /><br />Support AP/AR functions and process accruals.<br /><br />Benefits<br /><br />Salary $60,000 - $80,000 per year.<br /><br />Comprehensive health benefits.<br /><br />Opportunity to work with a company that has a strong impact on its community.<br /><br />Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
