<p>RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR<br />OVERVIEW<br />A mission-driven property management organization is seeking a compassionate and experienced Resident Services Coordinator to lead the design and delivery of programs that support and enrich the lives of residents living in affordable housing communities. This full-time leadership position works in close collaboration with property management teams to foster resident stability, engagement, and community well‑being. The RSC will also play a key role in building partnerships with local service providers and securing funding opportunities to support resident services.<br /><br />WHAT YOU’LL DO<br /><br />Collaborate with property management teams to identify and coordinate programming that promotes housing stability and resident success<br /><br />Support RSCs and site staff in developing resident engagement goals and measurable outcomes<br /><br />Design and implement programs that help reduce rent arrears, improve lease compliance, and promote positive resident relationships<br /><br />Establish and maintain strong partnerships with community-based organizations, service providers, and funders<br /><br />Train RSCs on using an outcome tracking tool to evaluate program success and report results<br /><br />Lead efforts to identify and secure funding opportunities at the local and national level<br /><br />Analyze performance data and apply findings to improve service delivery<br /><br />Host regular check‑ins with site teams to problem‑solve challenges and plan engagement events<br /><br />Understand resident concerns and coordinate support through appropriate referrals and resources<br /><br />Oversee the planning of community‑building events and seasonal celebrations<br /><br />Prepare standardized, site‑specific monthly newsletters across all properties<br /><br />Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting to meet internal and external requirements<br /><br />Prepare monthly reports for leadership and funders<br /><br />Manage resident engagement budgets and any grant‑funded program budgets<br /><br />Represent the organization professionally in meetings with local agencies, funders, municipalities, and community stakeholders<br /><br />Participate in professional development and organizational training opportunities<br /><br />WHY YOU MATTER<br />Your leadership will directly impact residents’ lives, helping them access critical resources, build stronger communities, and remain stably housed. You’ll support a passionate team, develop strategic partnerships, and shape programs that strengthen communities and create lasting change.<br /><br />WHAT IT TAKES<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field<br /><br />3–5 years of experience in community engagement, program development, staff supervision, and partnership management<br /><br />Demonstrated success in securing grant funding<br /><br />Strong understanding of HUD, Fair Housing, and related affordable housing regulations<br /><br />Ability to oversee and support teams across multiple sites<br /><br />Excellent written, verbal, and organizational communication skills<br /><br />Cultural competency and ability to work effectively with diverse communities<br /><br />Experience leading or facilitating community meetings and events<br /><br />Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), outcome tracking systems, and property management platforms like Yardi<br /><br />Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize, manage deadlines, and work independently<br /><br />Flexibility, empathy, and a sense of humor highly valued<br /><br />Reliable transportation required for regular regional travel<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr</p>
