<p>Talent & HR Specialist – Austin, TX<br />What You’ll Do<br />Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus – ~70%)<br /><br />Own End-to-End Recruiting: Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for roles across our customer-facing and operational teams. Source candidates, run phone screens, manage coordination, deliver offers, and drive onboarding.<br /><br />Sourcing: Utilize various channels, including social media, job boards, referrals, and direct sourcing techniques to identify and attract qualified candidates for open positions.<br /><br />Partner with Hiring Managers: Work closely with managers to understand team needs, build strong pipelines, and provide a proactive, data-informed recruiting strategy.<br /><br />Champion Candidate Experience: Ensure every candidate touchpoint reflects our culture and values, with timely, clear, and personalized communication.<br /><br />Drive Employer Branding: Represent Workiz in the Austin market—build our presence through social media, job boards, and direct outreach.<br /><br />Optimize TA Processes: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve recruitment workflows, tools, and reporting.<br /><br />Manage Vendors: Oversee relationships with external recruiting partners and agencies as needed.<br /><br />HR Operations & Office Ownership (Secondary Focus – ~30%)<br /><br />Local HR Support: Be the primary HR contact in Austin, handling employee lifecycle support, basic employee relations, HR documentation, and compliance tasks in partnership with the global team.<br /><br />New Hire Onboarding: Partner with managers and the enablement team to deliver a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.<br /><br />Office Experience & Culture: Maintain a functional and welcoming office environment; coordinating team events, employee milestone celebrations, and engagement activities.<br /><br />Admin & Coordination: Provide administrative support across HR functions, including meticulous employee record management and collaborative assistance with IT and Finance.<br /><br />Requirements<br /><br />3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a fast-paced, tech-driven company.<br /><br />Experience in talent sourcing on LinkedIn and premium tools.<br /><br />Proven experience managing hiring across various levels and functions.<br /><br />A strong grasp of end-to-end HR processes and administrative best practices.<br /><br />Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems (bonus points for working knowledge of Comeet, Rippling, Personio, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ).<br /><br />Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive—you manage competing priorities with ease.<br /><br />Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to build trust with candidates and employees at all levels.<br /><br />Passion for creating an outstanding workplace and supporting inclusive, employee-first practices.<br /><br />This is a hybrid role working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in our office and Monday and Friday working remotely.<br /><br />Compensation & Benefits<br />Salary range: $70,000 - $100,000 per annum.<br /><br />Benefits: Employee stock options; Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage options; up to a 4% match on 401k contributions.<br /><br />Perks<br /><br />Fuel Up & Unwind: Kitchen stocked with top-notch coffee and a variety of snacks.<br /><br />Four-Legged Friends Welcome: Bring your furry co-pilot to work.<br /><br />Bonding Beyond Desks: Regular social events, catered lunches, and office happy hours.<br /><br />Inclusivity Statement<br />At Workiz, we believe that great ideas come from anywhere.
