<p>Job Overview<br />Global Concepts Charter School, a premier Charter School in Western New York, is adding staff in its Human Resources department. The role supports school‑wide administration, partners with operations teams, and serves as a resource for benefit administration, employee safety, company policy, and legal inquiries.<br /><br />Summary<br />Essentially, the successful candidate will partner with and assist the Sr. HR Specialist in employee benefit administration—including new hire and ongoing enrollment, benefit orientation sessions, benefit changes involving health, dental, voluntary insurance plans, and retirement programs; support a positive safety culture and handle workers’ compensation related claims; follow up with benefit vendors and commercial insurance providers; assist Human Resource Staff in completing and maintaining required HR reporting; serve as a point of contact for employees regarding all other HR-related inquiries, especially related to policies and procedures; monitor employee policies and provide assistance in interpreting and updating employee policy and handbooks; perform data entry and preparation of HR and accounting reports for Human Resource information as required, including employee correspondence, benefits, payroll, and other HR administrative duties.<br /><br />Responsibilities<br /><br />Partner with and assist the Sr. HR Specialist in employee benefit administration—including new hire and ongoing enrollment, benefit orientation sessions, benefit changes involving health, dental, voluntary insurance plans, and retirement programs.<br /><br />Support a positive safety culture and effectively handle workers’ compensation related claims; follow up with employees and management regarding employee worker‑comp status.<br /><br />Follow up with benefit vendors and commercial insurance providers regarding status of employee benefit and commercial insurance policies.<br /><br />Assist Human Resource Staff in completing and maintaining required HR reporting.<br /><br />Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding all other HR-related inquiries, especially related to policies and procedures, properly addressing questions or directing them to the appropriate personnel.<br /><br />Monitor employee policies and provide assistance in interpreting and updating employee policy and handbooks.<br /><br />Perform data entry, preparation of HR and accounting reports for Human Resource information as required, including employee correspondence, benefits, payroll, and other HR administrative duties.<br /><br />Additional Information<br />Itinerant Location: 1159 Abbott Road, Buffalo, NY.
