Remote Customer Service Representative

<p>Description<br />The Remote Customer Service Representative is responsible for phone contact with patients to collect payment for medical billson behalf of our clients. This involves working in a fast-paced call center environment to establish contact with customers to negotiate payment and/or set up payment arrangements to collect account receivables.<br /><br />To perform successfully in a virtual environment, the remote Customer Service Representative must be comfortable<br />with technology and can easily understand and learn the technical requirements of the position.<br /><br />Duties/Responsibilities<br />Provide exceptional patient service in the name of the client<br />Contact patients via telephone to collect payment on medical bills<br />Communicates accurate information to patients in a clear, concise and professional manner<br />Review patient accounts and documents patients’ interaction and feedback<br />Negotiates appropriate and reasonable payments with customers<br />Sets up patient payments via check, electronic transfer or credit card<br />Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies and procedures<br />Meets or exceeds established goals<br />Works closely with team leads, management and client to resolve disputes and ensure patient satisfaction<br />All other duties as assigned by management<br /><br />Required Skills/Knowledge<br />Customer/Client Focus<br />Communication Proficiency<br />Confidentiality/Integrity<br />Teamwork Orientation<br />Basic computer skills necessary<br /><br />Education/Experience<br />Customer service experience preferred<br />Prior medical billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience strongly preferred<br />High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate required<br />One to two years of college preferred<br />Benefits<br />Annuity Health offers its employees excellent benefits including: Health, Dental, Vision, HSA and FSA Accounts, Voluntary Insurance, Paid Holidays, PTO, and 401(k).</p>
