Safety Specialist

<p>LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Utilities Safety Specialist opening for our client in the Allentown, PA area! This direct hire full-time role allows you to collaborate with numerous departments to create, design, and resolve issues relevant safety concerns, inspections, training, and foster a safety-first culture that is proactive. This worksite-to-worksite travel position requires at least 5 years’ experience in utility safety work, and ideal candidates will have extensive experience in dealing with construction and/or grounds keeping worksites.<br />Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000.<br />Responsibilities: Continuously create, update, and implement EHS policies and procedures to remain in compliance with governing body regulations.<br />Creation, implementation, and documentation of training programs.<br />Conduct regular audits to ensure hazard mitigation as well as potential hazards identification and removal.<br />Maintain adherence to EHS protocols, procedures, and policies as well as recommending and implementing any necessary corrective actions.<br />Develop, implement, and utilize root cause analysis regarding any incidents, accidents, and near misses compiling documentation and implementation of any necessary corrective measures.<br />Creation of and implementation of emergency preparedness plans.<br />Deliver training and overall guidance to all personnel, vendors, and visitors on company EHS policy and procedures in English and Spanish.<br />Remain up to date on all relevant laws and regulations and make any necessary corrections and implementations as needed.<br />Requirements: Proven ability to remain organized, analytical while working in a fast-paced environment.<br />Professional and technical presentation and communication skills a must.<br />OSHA 30 hour certified.<br />Must have valid driver’s license, take drug screen and pass a background check.<br />Experience in arborist safety and utilities HIGHLY preferred.<br />Highly versed in OSHA 29 CFR 1926 and ANSI Z133 required.<br />5+ years’ experience in a safety leadership role in either construction or utilities required.<br />Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.<br />Experience in incident reporting and root cause analysis investigation required.<br />Seniority level Associate<br />Employment type Full-time<br />Job function Other<br />Industries Utilities<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr</p>
