<p>Contract Analyst – Analytical II – Department of Financial Protection and Innovation<br />Contract Analyst (Analysis II) – Permanent, Full‑time.<br /><br />Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 per month.<br /><br />Location: Sacramento – May Lee State Office Complex, River District (may transition to telework after establishing). The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or training plans.<br /><br />Working Conditions<br />This position requires on‑site reporting, but telework may be available after establishment.<br /><br />Responsibilities<br />The incumbent will independently manage a variety of contracting and procurement activities while working collaboratively with departmental program staff and stakeholders. This role is highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service and results.<br /><br />Conflict of Interest<br />This position is subject to Title 10, § 250.30 of the California Code of Regulations, the Department of Financial Protection and Innovation’s Conflict of Interest Regulations, and requires the submission of Statements of Economic Interests (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office, annually by April 1st, and within 30 days of leaving office.<br /><br />Desired Qualifications<br /><br />Experience executing contracts or procurements, and contract management.<br /><br />Experience processing Procurement Contracts and Purchase Orders using FI$Cal or similar systems.<br /><br />Knowledge of State Contracting laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including the State Contracting Manuals and the State Administrative Manual.<br /><br />Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with customers, vendors, management, and stakeholders.<br /><br />Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Planner, and Adobe Acrobat.<br /><br />Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.<br /><br />Experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying contract/procurement policies, regulations, and procedures to complex contracting situations.<br /><br />Knowledge of State accounting, budgeting, and fiscal processes related to procurement and contract administration.<br /><br />Benefits<br />State employees may be eligible for health, dental, vision, and leave benefits, as well as retirement programs and other benefits.
