<div><h2>Commercial Pricing Analyst</h2><p>TOTE Maritime Alaska is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Pricing Analyst to join our Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who enjoys working with data, solving business challenges, supporting commercial strategy, and influencing revenue growth.</p><p>As a member of the team responsible for all topline revenue, you will play a critical role in evaluating pricing requests, supporting contract negotiations, analyzing customer accounts, and providing insights that help drive strategic business decisions.</p><p>This position offers the opportunity to work closely with Sales, Business Development, Customer Service, and leadership teams while contributing directly to the financial success of the organization.</p><h3>Pricing & Account Management</h3><ul><li>Review and evaluate customer pricing requests and determine appropriate rate levels based on corporate costs, market conditions, and existing pricing structures.</li><li>Develop and prepare contract proposals for customers and internal stakeholders.</li><li>Partner with customers and the Sales team to negotiate pricing and contract terms.</li><li>Review customer agreements and ensure pricing accuracy and compliance.</li><li>Produce and maintain rate comparisons, pricing analyses, and recommendations.</li><li>Analyze customer accounts and recommend adjustments to maximize revenue opportunities.</li></ul><h3>Business Analysis & Reporting</h3><ul><li>Analyze revenue, expense, customer, equipment, and market segment data to support decision-making.</li><li>Prepare and update standard and customized pricing reports.</li><li>Assist in producing Flash Reports, yield projections, and revenue forecasts.</li><li>Participate in the publication of Surface Transportation Board (STB) tariffs.</li><li>Provide transaction-level business analytics to multiple departments throughout the organization.</li></ul><h3>Operational & Customer Support</h3><ul><li>Enter and maintain contractual information within company systems while ensuring a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Serve as a resource for the Customer Service team regarding invoice production and billing inquiries.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve booking, pricing, and invoicing issues in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations teams to support customer and business needs.</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For</h3><p>Required Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.</li><li>Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including: Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Access.</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul><li>Experience in Pricing Analysis, Revenue Management, Business Analytics, Financial Analysis, or Commercial Operations.</li><li>Experience supporting transportation, logistics, maritime, shipping, or supply chain organizations.</li><li>Experience working with customer contracts, pricing structures, and revenue modeling.</li></ul><h3>Key Skills & Competencies</h3><ul><li>Pricing Analysis</li><li>Revenue Management</li><li>Business Analytics</li><li>Contract Management</li><li>Financial Reporting</li><li>Data Analysis</li><li>Problem Solving</li><li>Critical Thinking</li><li>Customer Service</li><li>Communication</li><li>Attention to Detail</li><li>Organization</li><li>Time Management</li><li>Relationship Building</li><li>Collaboration</li></ul><p>Why Join TOTE Maritime Alaska?</p><p>At TOTE Maritime Alaska, you'll join a company that plays a critical role in keeping Alaska connected.
