Senior Cost Analyst

This high-visibility role offers the chance to influence decision-making in a business that supplies critical technology for electrification applications.<br />Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr<br />Direct message the job poster from KBW Financial Staffing &amp; Recruiting<br />Location Lowell, MA (candidates local to Lowell, MA only) – You must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction, now or in the future.<br />About the Role This role involves leading cost accounting activities and providing insights that drive business decisions.<br />Responsibilities Lead cost accounting activities for production operations, including setting and maintaining standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost-collection controls.<br />Prepare monthly close entries: WIP valuation, inventory reconciliations, reserves, variance analysis, and production reporting.<br />Deliver clear internal reporting on revenue, costs, variances, and gross margin performance.<br />Support annual audits, SOX/internal control testing, and process improvements.<br />Partner with Finance and Operations leadership to build models, forecasts, and ad-hoc analyses for business decisions and capital planning.<br />Contribute to ERP/reporting enhancements and other projects aimed at streamlining cost and inventory workflows.<br />Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.<br />5–10+ years of progressive cost analysis or manufacturing accounting experience.<br />Required Skills Advanced Excel skills (heavy reporting &amp; modeling).<br />Experience with SAP or another large ERP (preferred).<br />Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, confident working with leadership and cross-functional partners.<br />Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.<br />Familiarity with internal controls, inventory audits, and standard costing best practices.<br />Preferred Skills Experience with SAP or another large ERP (preferred).<br />Pay range and compensation package Contact me for more information.<br />Equal Opportunity Statement We are committed to diversity and inclusivity in our hiring practices.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
