Overview<br />The Developer - IV is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline IT operations.<br /><br />This role involves scripting, integration, and configuration management using tools such as Python, Ansible, and ServiceNow.<br /><br />The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable automation strategies and ensure operational efficiency.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />Design and Implementation<br /><br />Develop and implement automation strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts.<br /><br />Write Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflows.<br /><br />Create reusable Ansible roles and modules for common tasks.<br /><br />Integrate workflows using REST APIs and webhooks.<br /><br />Operations and Maintenance<br /><br />Monitor automation workflows to ensure optimal performance.<br /><br />Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues.<br /><br />Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.<br /><br />Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.<br /><br />Documentation<br /><br />Maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.<br /><br />Document incident responses and resolutions.<br /><br />Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.<br /><br />Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.<br /><br />Required Qualifications<br /><br />Educational Background<br /><br />Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.<br /><br />Alternatively, 5+ years of relevant experience in the field.<br /><br />Experience<br /><br />Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation efforts.<br /><br />Strong hands-on experience with:<br /><br />Python scripting<br /><br />Ansible for configuration management<br /><br />CI/CD platform testing<br /><br />Technical Skills<br /><br />Proficiency with:<br /><br />ServiceNow Catalog and APIs<br /><br />Python scripting<br /><br />Ansible orchestration<br /><br />Git or other version control systems<br /><br />Soft Skills<br /><br />Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<br /><br />Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br /><br />Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<br /><br />Effective team collaboration and ability to work independently.<br /><br />Preferred Qualifications<br /><br />Experience collaborating with subject matter experts across disciplines.<br /><br />Familiarity with webhooks and REST API integrations.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
