Operations Analyst

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.<br />As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.<br />What you’ll actually do<br /><br />Stress-test AI-built models<br /><br />on real corporate scenarios: three-statement linkages, DCF assumptions, and the working-capital logic underneath.<br />Trace the reasoning<br /><br />to expose plugged numbers, broken drivers, and conclusions the model's own math doesn't support.<br />Write the defensible analysis<br /><br />when the model falls short: honest assumptions, clear drivers, and a number you'd put in front of a CFO.<br />Roles this fits<br /><br />Common backgrounds: FP&amp;A Analyst, Finance Business Partner, Strategic Finance.<br />What we look for<br /><br />Professional experience in corporate finance, FP&amp;A, or strategic finance.<br />Fluency with modeling: three-statement builds, DCF, and the accounting behind them.<br />Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.<br />No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.<br />Compensation<br /><br />Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization.
