Graphic Designer

Summary<br />Responsible for developing creative design solutions for both print and digital media that address corporate business strategies while supporting specific specialty industry marketing needs. Consistently delivers results on time and on budget.<br /><br />Essential Duties and Responsibilities<br /><br />Designs, produces, and manages creation of brochures, advertisements, announcements, logos, newsletters, flyers, invitations, websites, digital media communications (including HTML email), trade show exhibits, and presentations;<br /><br />Translates complex business and marketing needs into simple, elegant communications that are effective either in print or on-screen, or both;<br /><br />Understands the importance of brand identity standards and maintains consistency of established standards while pushing to interpret them in inventive and meaningful new ways;<br /><br />Participates and contributes forward‑thinking design solutions or ideas during project strategy and/or team brainstorming sessions;<br /><br />Manages production of projects from concept through completion, including coordinating resources with third parties;<br /><br />Stays abreast of new design industry techniques and/or technologies that will result in process improvement;<br /><br />Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);<br /><br />Other duties as assigned.<br /><br />Qualifications<br />Education / Experience<br /><br />Bilingual (Spanish/English), required<br /><br />Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or advertising with an emphasis in graphic design, preferred<br /><br />Three (3) to six (6) or more years of progressive experience as a hands‑on designer, required<br /><br />Experience in the Commercial Insurance Brokerage Industry, preferred<br /><br />Expert‑level proficiency in an IBM environment with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat); Photoshop skills required include color correction expertise; photo manipulation (collages, composites, etc.), preferred<br /><br />Excellent verbal and written communication skills<br /><br />Ability to identify problems and develop strategic solutions<br /><br />Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize to meet very tight turnaround times on multiple projects<br /><br />Self‑motivated with strong work ethic and attitude<br /><br />Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Publisher preferred<br /><br />Proficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on skills in PowerPoint<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
