We are seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst (BA/DA) to join the Enterprise Shared Analytics Marts (ESAM) squad within Enterprise Data and Information Services (EDIS). This is a high-impact role supporting enterprise‑scale data solutions that power reporting, analytics, regulatory needs, and data‑driven business insights. The BA/DA will partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, data engineers, and downstream consumers to define business requirements, perform data analysis.<br /><br />Essential Job Functions<br /><br />Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and data requirements.<br /><br />Own end‑to‑end data attribution and source‑to‑target mapping for enterprise data elements across source systems, CAM, and downstream marts.<br /><br />Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications, including transformations, derivations, and business rules.<br /><br />Provide SQL logic, data validation rules, and mapping guidance to support development and data engineering teams.<br /><br />Contribute to logical and physical data models and entity‑relationship diagrams.<br /><br />Support solution design to ensure alignment with business objectives, data standards, and optimized user experience.<br /><br />Lead and participate in requirement and mapping reviews, ensuring quality, consistency, traceability, and auditability.<br /><br />Perform data analysis, profiling, and validation to assess data quality, completeness, and downstream impacts.<br /><br />Support testing activities including SIT and UAT by defining test scenarios, validating results, and assisting with defect resolution.<br /><br />Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and estimates to project managers and stakeholders.<br /><br />Apply SDLC and Agile methodologies throughout the lifecycle from discovery through delivery and post‑implementation support.<br /><br />Mentor junior analysts and promote continuous improvement in data quality, delivery efficiency, and documentation standards.<br /><br />Required Qualifications<br /><br />Bachelor’s Degree with 7+ years of Business Analysis and/or Data Analysis experience, or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.<br /><br />Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.<br /><br />Strong SQL experience for data analysis, validation, and requirement translation.<br /><br />Experience with data mapping, data modeling, and enterprise data platforms.<br /><br />Experience working with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery).<br /><br />Preferred Skills / Qualifications<br /><br />Experience working in Information Technology within the banking or financial services industry.<br /><br />Strong understanding of enterprise data supply chains and downstream impacts.<br /><br />Experience with Agile methodologies, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.<br /><br />Experience performing data quality analysis and automation for validations.<br /><br />Working knowledge of Ab Initio, Mainframe systems, and BI tools such as Tableau.<br /><br />Understanding of SDLC, security, risk management, and IT controls.<br /><br />Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.<br /><br />#J-18808-Ljbffr
