Engineer plays senior role in a team is technically responsible for particular feature delivery which consists of:<br />● Presenting solution to Architects<br />● Technical drive feature delivery, make decisions, development leadership - distribute tasks across one-two regular engineers<br />● Work with QA to review testing approaches, provide all details needed for testing, review test plans<br />● Be responsible for all internal feature documentation<br /><br />Responsibilities<br />● Work closely with Tech leads and architects, Kanban master, QA and PM to deliver high quality work<br />● Complex features development<br />● Provide good code coverage in unit and integration testing<br />● Be ready for every day technical decisions<br />● Professional communication with other cross-functional team representatives<br />● Be ready for sustenance in areas under engineer responsibility<br /><br />Required Skills<br />● 5+ years of experience in enterprise application design, development<br />● 5+ Experience in backend applications development<br />● Proven ability to deliver solutions, offer implementation support, engage with customers.<br />● 3+ years of experience in building scalable distributed data systems using Java and Cloud Technology.<br />● Good technical background with previous development experience for enterprise customers<br />● Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 and above), Java Runtime basics<br />● Provide Technical mentorship and leadership to junior team members.<br />● Hands-on technically, comfortable reviewing and writing code.<br />● Solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in algorithms, data structures, software design, and building large, distributed systems<br />● Experience in performance optimisations, code profiling, Java application runtime analysis<br /><br />Preferred Skills<br />● Experience with Amazon AWS, Azure or GCP and its services<br />o Managed databases (AWS DynamoDB, Google GBQ, GBT, Azure CosmosDB)<br />o Managed Queue services (AWS SQS, Google PubSub, Azure Service Bus)<br />● Experience in cloud security principles<br />● Experience with Kubernetes<br />● Experience with Big Data Technologies<br />● Experience in customer support in SaaS area is a big plus<br />● MS in computer science or equivalent experience
