Job Description:<br /><br />Senior Mobile Developer Birmingham<br /><br />Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer with deep native mobile expertise and a proven ability to mentor and scale engineering teams. This role will play a key part in driving architecture, best practices, and delivery excellence across mobile platforms. Key Responsibilities:<br /><br />Lead development of native mobile applications across iOS and/or Android<br />Architect scalable, high-performance mobile solutions<br />Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers<br />Establish and enforce mobile development best practices<br />Integrate third-party libraries and APIs across applications<br />Collaborate with product and engineering leadership on technical direction<br />Participate in Agile Scrum processes and drive delivery outcomes<br />Provide clear communication, status updates, and facilitate team alignment<br />Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field<br />Proven experience as a mobile developer working with native OS architectures<br />Extensive experience with: iOS: Swift, SwiftUI; Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose<br />Demonstrated experience mentoring or leading developers<br />Strong experience with third-party libraries and API integrations<br />Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles<br />Comfortable working in a structured Agile Scrum environment<br />Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills<br />Strong communication skills with ability to drive consensus across teams<br />Preferred Qualifications<br />Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Google Play Store<br />Experience working across both iOS and Android platforms<br />Experience in large-scale, enterprise environments<br />Team Environment:<br />Team includes 2 Level 3 Engineers and 1 Level 4 Engineer<br />Part of a larger organization with three mobile development teams<br />Agile delivery model with high visibility and impact<br />Interview Process:<br />Initial 45-minute interview<br />Typically followed by a second technical interview<br />Occasional fast-tracked offers after first interview<br /><br />Working Place:<br /><br />Birmingham, Alabama, United States<br /><br />Company :<br /><br />ESR Healthcare
