Why This Role Matters:<br />We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team with a strong focus on AWS cloud-based development and deployments. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications deployed on AWS infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud-native development, containerization, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD practices will be essential to delivering high-quality, secure, and performant solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain applications using modern DevOps practices and tools.<br />How You'll Contribute:<br />Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on cloud-native architecture on AWS.<br />Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other AWS offerings.<br />Containerization: Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker on AWS ECS; support VM-based applications when required.<br />Infrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring repeatable, version-controlled deployments.<br />CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for automated builds, testing, and deployments.<br />Package Management: Configure and manage artifact repositories using CloudSmith for secure package distribution.<br />Identity &amp; Access Management: Integrate and manage authentication/authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) as the Identity Provider.<br />Security &amp; Networking: Implement security best practices; collaborate on ZScaler configurations for secure network access.<br />Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, Platform Engineers, and other developers to deliver robust solutions.<br />Optimization: Optimize applications for reliability, and security.<br />Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across the full stack, from frontend to cloud infrastructure.<br />Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in AWS services, cloud development, and DevOps practices.<br />What We're Looking For:<br />Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.<br />Backend Development: Experience with backend frameworks (NestJS, Node.js, or similar).<br />Frontend Development: Proficiency in building modern, responsive applications (Angular, React, or similar).<br />AWS Cloud: Extensive experience with AWS services including:<br />ECS (Elastic Container Service) for container orchestration<br />EC2 for VM-based applications<br />S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and other core services<br />Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and container-based deployments.<br />Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.<br />CI/CD: Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD.<br />Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git and GitLab workflows.<br />Identity Management: Experience integrating applications with enterprise Identity Providers, specifically Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).<br />Package Management: Familiarity with artifact repositories such as CloudSmith.<br />APIs &amp; Data: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).<br />Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or similar).<br />Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.<br />Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).<br />AWS Certifications such as Generative AI Developer<br />Preferred (Nice to Have):<br />CMS Platforms: Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful.<br />AWS Kiro: Exposure to or experience with AWS Kiro for AI-assisted development.<br />ZScaler: Understanding of ZScaler for secure access and zero-trust network architectures.<br />Additional Languages: Experience with Java or Kotlin.<br />Messaging/Streaming: Experience with Kafka or AWS Kinesis.<br />Serverless: Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.<br />Monitoring &amp; Observability: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party monitoring tools.<br />Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.<br />Compensation:<br />Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $160,000/year plus bonus in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
