Accounting Operations Coordinator

Structural-Builders &amp; Restorations (S-BR) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Operations Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in construction , who is looking to build a long-term career in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.<br /><br />In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our day-to-day accounting operations, helping ensure financial accuracy across multiple construction projects, and working closely with both accounting and project management teams, as well as supporting broader administrative and compliance efforts.<br /><br />What You’ll Do:<br /><br />Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) processes<br /><br />Assist with job costing, budget tracking, and project expense analysis<br /><br />Support progress billing (AIA), including preparation and follow-ups<br /><br />Handle lien waivers and maintain proper documentation compliance<br /><br />Perform reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and project-related costs<br /><br />Partner with project managers to monitor budgets and financial performance<br /><br />Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in accounting systems (Foundation)<br /><br />Assist with month-end close, reporting, and financial data accuracy<br /><br />Provide day-to-day support to the administrative team and Head of Compliance with operational and documentation tasks<br /><br />What We’re Looking For:<br /><br />1+ year of accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred)<br /><br />Understanding of job costing and construction accounting principles<br /><br />Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software<br /><br />Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills<br /><br />Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment<br /><br />Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset<br /><br />Nice to Have:<br /><br />Experience with AIA billing, retainage, and lien waiver processing<br /><br />Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field<br /><br />Why Join S-BR?<br />At Structural-Builders &amp; Restorations, you’ll be part of a growing company where your contributions directly impact project success.
