maintaining or enhancing existing applications.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Role</p><p>As a Software Engineer, you'll work closely with engineering, product and clinical teams to design, develop and deliver innovative healthcare technology solutions.</p><p><br /></p><p>Your responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Designing and developing new features across web and mobile applications used directly by patients.</li><li>Building consumer-facing products that improve user engagement, retention and overall experience.</li><li>Developing scalable backend services and infrastructure to support a growing AI-powered healthcare platform.</li><li>Building and enhancing applications used by physicians to improve clinical workflows and operational efficiency.</li><li>Integrating AI-powered functionality into healthcare applications.</li><li>Developing integrations with enterprise healthcare organisations, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.</li><li>Supporting healthcare data integrations, including insurance claims processing and Health Information Exchange (HIE) records.</li><li>Working across the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and architecture through to production deployment.</li><li>Collaborating with product managers, designers and clinical stakeholders to translate business requirements into high-quality software.</li><li>Ensuring applications are scalable, secure, reliable and maintainable.</li><li>Taking ownership of technical decisions and contributing to the future direction of the engineering function.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What We're Looking For</p><p>We're looking for talented Software Engineers who combine strong technical capabilities with a genuine passion for building products that solve real-world problems.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Essential experience:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>5+ years of professional software engineering experience</strong>, ideally within high-growth technology companies.</li><li>Proven experience developing and launching new products or features from concept through to production.</li><li>Strong experience building <strong>consumer-facing applications</strong>, rather than exclusively internal tools or infrastructure platforms.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>TypeScript, JavaScript, React and Next.js</strong>.</li><li>Experience developing backend applications using Node.js.</li><li>Knowledge of mobile application development using React Native.</li><li>Experience working with PostgreSQL and modern database technologies.</li><li>Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based application development.</li><li>Experience working with Terraform and Redis.</li><li>Strong understanding of software architecture, application performance and scalability.</li><li>Ability to take ownership of projects and deliver high-quality software in a fast-moving environment.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Desirable experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working within early-stage or high-growth startups.</li><li>Previous experience building zero-to-one products or launching new product lines within established technology companies.</li><li>Experience developing healthcare technology or AI-powered applications.</li><li>Knowledge of Python and additional backend technologies.</li><li>Experience integrating third-party APIs and enterprise systems.</li><li>Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.</li></ul><p><br
