AI Tooling Engineer | MCP, LLMs & Developer Tools

If you're a student, recent graduate, or early-career developer with projects that demonstrate your ability, we'd love to hear from you.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p><ul><li>Build and maintain MCP servers that connect AI applications with external tools, APIs, and services.</li><li>Develop backend solutions using TypeScript/Node.js or Python.</li><li>Build and integrate CLIs, SDKs, and APIs to make tools accessible and easier to use.</li><li>Work with LLM APIs, tool calling, function calling, and agent workflows.</li><li>Prototype, test, and ship practical AI-powered tools and integrations.</li><li>Identify technical problems, develop solutions, and take projects from idea to implementation.</li><li>Improve the reliability, usability, and performance of developer tooling.</li><li>Work independently, move quickly, and take ownership of outcomes.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li><strong>You've built an MCP server yourself.</strong> This is essential. A GitHub repository or working demo is required as part of your application.</li><li>Solid backend development skills in TypeScript/Node.js or Python.</li><li>Hands-on experience building CLIs, SDKs, or API integrations.</li><li>Practical experience using LLM APIs, tool/function calling, or agent workflows.</li><li>A builder's mindset: you take initiative, solve problems, and ship without needing constant direction.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Bonus Points</strong></p><ul><li>Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub portfolio.</li><li>MCP servers you've built for real-world tools, APIs, or services.</li><li>Projects developed through hackathons, personal experimentation, or AI builder communities.</li><li>Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude or Cursor.</li><li>Strong debugging skills and an ability to learn new technologies quickly.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Experience &amp; Education</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>here's no minimum years-of-experience requirement.
