Senior C&I Credit Analyst

<p><strong>Overview:</strong></p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Credit Analyst to join our client within a banking institution. This individual will be responsible for performing in-depth financial analysis, assessing credit risk, and providing well-supported recommendations on complex commercial loan requests. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and underwriting experience across various commercial loan types, including C&amp;I or ABL.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive financial analysis of middle-market and commercial borrowers, including review of financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow projections.</li><li>Prepare detailed credit memos and underwriting packages with risk assessments and recommendations for approval.</li><li>Evaluate collateral and perform loan structure analysis to ensure appropriate risk mitigation.</li><li>Collaborate with relationship managers, loan officers, and portfolio managers on new and existing credit requests.</li><li>Monitor borrower performance and identify early warning signs of credit deterioration.</li><li>Assist in portfolio management, including renewals, modifications, and annual reviews.</li><li>Ensure all analyses comply with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Mentor junior analysts by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and providing technical guidance.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.</li><li>3+ years of commercial credit analysis or underwriting experience in banking or financial services.</li><li>Bilingual - English &amp; Spanish</li><li>Strong understanding of C&amp;I or ABL Lending</li><li>Proficiency with financial spreading software and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
