BIM Coordinator / Revit Administrator

<p><strong>Your New Company</strong></p><p>Join a boutique MEP Engineering firm, based mid-town NYC.</p><p><br /></p><p>They focus predominantly on high-rise Residential projects (80% of their workload), leveraging Revit heavily.</p><p><br /></p><p>You can work on a hybrid schedule, or potentially remote basis with occasional in office requirements &lt;- though requires you to still be easily commutable to New York City.</p><p><br /></p><p>Due to ongoing business growth they need a BIM Coordinator (MEP) / Revit Systems Admin to join their team. They have an existing external consultant that currently supports this work, but are now looking to make their first inhouse hire for this function.</p><p><br /></p><p>You'll be the person who makes Revit and the BIM process actually work — across the firm and on live projects.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Your New Role</strong></p><ul><li>Own the firm's Revit environment and support project teams across various industry sectors.</li><li>Build and maintain Revit templates, MEP families, title blocks, schedules and firm-wide BIM standards</li><li>Potentially manage Autodesk software, licensing and upgrades (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud / BIM 360) plus plugins</li><li>Set up project models, link in architect and structural models, and manage worksharing and cloud collaboration</li><li>Run clash detection in Navisworks and attend coordination meetings to drive clash resolution</li><li>Enforce model quality against the BIM Execution Plan and LOD requirements, and manage model deliverables</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You’ll Need to Succeed</strong></p><ul><li>Experience as a BIM Coordinator, Revit Manager, BIM Specialist or similar — <strong>MEP experience strongly preferred</strong></li><li>Strong Revit MEP skills, including family creation and understanding of duct, pipe and electrical systems in Revit</li><li>Experience with Navisworks Manage, ACC / BIM 360 and clash detection workflows</li><li>Troubleshooting and training ability — you keep models healthy and staff up to speed</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You’ll Get in Return</strong></p><p>Base salary circa $70k - $80k, plus benefits / medical / dental / vision / 401k / etc</p><p>Paid time off for work-life balance (they also close between Christmas &amp; NYE)</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You Need to Do Now</strong></p><p>If you're ready to take ownership of BIM across a busy MEP practice, please apply online for immediate consideration.
