AVP Equity Analyst

<p>Equity Analyst – U.S. Technology</p><p>A leading investment firm is seeking an <strong>Equity Analyst</strong> to join its U.S. Equity team in <strong>New York</strong>, focused on the <strong>Information Technology sector</strong>.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct fundamental, bottom-up research on U.S. technology companies.</li><li>Build and maintain financial models, earnings estimates, and valuation analyses.</li><li>Analyze earnings, SEC filings, company disclosures, and industry developments.</li><li>Develop investment theses, valuation targets, and stock recommendations.</li><li>Identify new investment opportunities and provide actionable insights to portfolio managers.</li><li>Prepare research and investment materials and communicate sector developments to investment teams.</li><li>Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers across U.S. and international teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Key qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong background in fundamental equity research and U.S. public equities.</li><li>Strong financial modeling, accounting, and valuation skills.</li><li>Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities.</li><li>Experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms preferred.</li><li>CFA progress/designation and experience with Python, SQL, or other data tools are a plus.</li></ul><p><br /></p>
