Senior Technical Business Analyst

<p><strong>Description:</strong></p><p><strong>Business Initiative/Purpose: (Goal, Business Impact, Accomplishments from the work)</strong></p><ul><li>Business process improvement and technical enablement with new software integration and automation.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Bachelor Degree: (Required, Preferred or Not Required)</strong></p><ul><li>Preferred.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)</strong></p><p><strong>Business Process Discovery &amp; Documentation</strong></p><ul><li>Document current-state and future-state business processes supporting BTAS and related operations.</li><li>Lead discovery sessions with business users, operations, technology teams, data partners, and third-party vendors.</li><li>Create cross-functional workflow and swimlane diagrams using Microsoft Visio or similar tools.</li><li>Identify undocumented processes, information gaps, operational risks, and opportunities for process improvement.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Technical, Data &amp; Integration Analysis</strong></p><ul><li>Understand the application ecosystem, architecture, interfaces, integrations, and document repositories.</li><li>Document source data, inbound/outbound exchanges, connectivity methods, transformation points, and downstream consumers.</li><li>Trace data lineage and clarify data ownership, business rules, reconciliation processes, dependencies, and exception handling.</li><li>Partner with architects, developers, integration teams, testers, and platform specialists to translate technical details into clear process and system documentation.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Requirements &amp; Product Support</strong></p><ul><li>Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, and technical documentation.</li><li>Support backlog refinement, prioritization, dependency management, and delivery activities using Broadcom Rally / CA Agile Central.</li><li>Collaborate with Product Managers, SMEs, architects, developers, testing teams, and vendors.</li><li>Maintain organized documentation and knowledge repositories to reduce reliance on tribal knowledge.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Stakeholder &amp; Partner Engagement</strong></p><ul><li>Independently identify and engage business and technical stakeholders to resolve questions and documentation gaps.</li><li>Facilitate meetings, workshops, walkthroughs, and working sessions.</li><li>Ask probing questions and challenge assumptions to ensure processes, requirements, and technical dependencies are fully understood.</li><li>Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)</strong></p><ul><li>7+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, Systems Analyst, or similar role.</li><li>Strong experience documenting complex business processes and supporting technical components.</li><li>Ability to independently lead discovery and requirements elicitation.</li><li>Experience analyzing application integrations, APIs, file transfers, data exchanges, and system dependencies.</li><li>Experience documenting data lineage, source systems, connectivity, data ownership, and downstream consumers.</li><li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio, including cross-functional workflows and swimlane diagrams.</li><li>Experience creating functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and data flow documentation.</li><li>Experience working in an Agile delivery environment and using Rally / CA Agile Central.</li><li>Excellent analytical, facilitation, written communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:(Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience.
