The culture is fast, ambitious, and precise, with a high bar for execution.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>The Role;</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>We're hiring a Founding Sales Development Representative, Data Partnerships, to help build and scale an outbound sales engine that creates qualified opportunities with the world's most sophisticated companies.</p><p><br /></p><p>This isn't a traditional SDR role where you inherit a mature playbook and follow a script. It's a builder role.</p><p><br /></p><p>You'll identify and engage decision-makers across AI companies, big tech, hedge funds, research firms, and next-generation data platforms. You'll turn sharp research and personalized outreach into high-quality conversations for the commercial team.</p><p>You'll see how enterprise sales works from first contact through to close, with a clear path to broader sales ownership as the business grows.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Why This Role Matters;</strong></p><p><br /></p><p>You'll be one of the first commercial hires, shaping how the company builds pipeline and enters new markets.</p><p><br /></p><p>The data supports emerging use cases across AI, search, commerce, finance, and market intelligence. You'll help define ideal customer profiles, sharpen messaging, uncover new use cases, and build a repeatable outbound motion that directly drives growth.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>What You'll Do;</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Build qualified pipeline: Identify, research, and engage high-potential accounts across AI, technology, finance, research, and data.</li><li>Own outbound prospecting: Use email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and creative outreach to reach senior decision-makers.</li><li>Create relevant messaging: Translate datasets and use cases into concise, personalized outreach for different industries and buyer personas.</li><li>Qualify opportunities: Understand each prospect's business, use case, urgency, stakeholders, and commercial potential before moving things forward.</li><li>Set high-quality meetings: Create well-qualified opportunities with strong context and clean handoffs to the sales team.</li><li>Partner with commercial leadership: Work closely with senior sales leaders on account strategy, campaigns, events, and priority prospects.</li><li>Build the SDR playbook: Help define targeting, sequences, messaging, qualification criteria, reporting, and the tools needed to scale.</li><li>Use data to improve: Track activity and conversion, test new approaches, and keep refining what works.</li><li>Develop market expertise: Stay close to trends in AI, alternative data, digital behavior, and the industries you serve.</li><li>Act like an owner: Move fast, stay organized, follow through, and take responsibility for creating opportunities.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>What We're Looking For;</strong></p><p><br /></p><ul><li>1+ year of experience in outbound sales development, business development, data partnerships, or another high-performance commercial role</li><li>A track record of generating qualified meetings through thoughtful, persistent outbound prospecting</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to engage senior and technical stakeholders</li><li>Strong research skills and the judgment to find the right accounts, people, and reasons to reach out</li><li>Commercial curiosity and a genuine interest in AI, data products, analytics, or digital ecosystems</li><li>A builder mindset: you enjoy creating processes, testing ideas, and working without a fully established playbook</li><li>Goal-oriented and resilient, with the persistence to handle objections and keep momentum</li><li>Highly organized and accountable, with consistent follow-up and CRM discipline</li><li>Coachable, collaborative, and eager to grow into a broader sales role</li><li>High urgency and high standards</li></ul><p><br /></p>
